1. Liaison Support to the Office of Force Transformation (OFT), February 2005 through February 2006
SA provided liaison and analysis support to the Office of Force Transformation (OFT) on issues related to U.S. and allied defense transformation. SA established the first official liaison between OFT and the command and staff elements of U.S. Joint Forces Command (JFCOM), facilitating the exchange of ideas and information between OFT, JFCOM, other combatant and functional commands, the Joint Staff and the military services. SA focused on activities in JFCOM's J9 (Joint Experimentation and Concept Development) Directorate, ensuring that OFT had a regular presence and visibility in planning events, workshops, writing group and related experimentation and concept development activities. SA represented OFT in a number of key events and processes, including writers' conferences for the Major Combat Operations Joint Operating Concept, the Stability Operations Joint Operating Concept and the Joint Experimentation Campaign Plan; planning conferences for the Urban Resolve Senior Leader Review; Urban Resolve 2015; Multinational Experiment 4; and regular teleconferences with the broader experimentation community.
