6. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Meeting Support National Science Board, 10 July 2006 - 9 July 2007
SA is pleased to be able to serve the National Science Board (NSB) and the National Science Board Office (NSBO) by providing policy expertise and meeting support for the Board's Commission and initiatives on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education. During this 15 months effort, SA will assist the NSB with crafting background papers, discussion documents, and presentations while also assisting with draft reports, helping to shepherd these reports through the publications process, and assisting with meeting planning so that the Board Commission can implement an effective, realistic, affordable, and politically acceptable approach to the problems and opportunities of U.S. K-12 STEM education.
