4. Recruitment and Selection Project, July 2006 - October 2006 Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP)
SA is collaborating with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) to support their Collaborative Leadership Project, funded by Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS). SA is supporting IACP in its effort to develop a Recruitment and Selection ToolKit. The Toolkit is a series of publications intended to assist law enforcement executives in implementing a community oriented and comprehensive approach to improving the police recruitment and selection process. This project leverages SA's expertise in manpower issues by developing recruitment and selection solutions for law enforcement agencies in overcoming obstacles such as military call-ups and staffing shortages. The toolkit will be available to over 20,000 international, federal, state and local police executives and members of the IACP in late 2006.
